NeuropAWAY GLP-1 FAQ: Eriomin & Healthy Glucose Metabolism
Support your body’s own GLP-1 — with ingredients backed by real research.
NeuropAWAY GLP-1 is built around Eriomin® lemon fruit extract and taurine — ingredients studied in published clinical research for their role in the body’s natural GLP-1 response and healthy glucose metabolism. Real, named ingredients at studied amounts.
What Eriomin® showed in clinical trials
Formulated with ingredients that have real published research
Most metabolic supplements lean on unstudied blends. NeuropAWAY GLP-1 is built on ingredients with human clinical data — and delivers Eriomin® at the amount used in the studies, not a fraction of it.
Eriomin® Lemon Fruit Extract
A patented citrus flavonoid standardized to 70% eriocitrin. In three randomized, placebo-controlled trials in adults with elevated glucose, Eriomin® increased the body’s own GLP-1 by 15–22%, lowered fasting glucose (−5%) and HbA1c (−2%), and reduced markers of inflammation.
Ribeiro 2019 (Phytother Res); Cesar 2022 (J Med Food); Ramos 2023 (Food Sci Nutr). Eriomin® is a trademark of its manufacturer; studies supplier-funded.
Taurine
An amino acid the body uses in glucose and energy metabolism. In a meta-analysis of five randomized controlled trials in people with diabetes, taurine significantly improved long-term glucose (HbA1c), fasting blood sugar, and insulin resistance (HOMA-IR).
Tao et al. 2022 (Food Chemistry: Molecular Sciences), meta-analysis of 5 RCTs, ~209 participants.
TUDCA (Tauroursodeoxycholic Acid)
A bile acid studied for its role in cellular and metabolic health. In a randomized controlled trial in insulin-resistant adults, TUDCA supported improved insulin sensitivity in the liver and muscle. Research on TUDCA is ongoing, and we include it as part of a complete metabolic-support formula.
Kars et al. 2010 (Diabetes). Study conducted in non-diabetic insulin-resistant adults; research into TUDCA’s metabolic role is still developing.

Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about the ingredients and the research behind them.
Does NeuropAWAY GLP-1 support GLP-1 naturally?
Yes — it’s formulated with ingredients studied for exactly that. GLP-1 is a hormone your body makes on its own that helps regulate blood sugar and appetite. In three randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trials, the Eriomin® ingredient in our formula increased participants’ own GLP-1 levels by 15–22% (Ribeiro 2019; Cesar 2022; Ramos 2023).
NeuropAWAY GLP-1 supports your body’s natural GLP-1 response — it is not a GLP-1 drug and does not contain semaglutide, tirzepatide, or any prescription medication.
Has this exact formula been clinically tested?
We want to be straight with you: the published clinical trials are on the individual ingredients — most notably Eriomin® at the same 200 mg dose we use — not on the finished NeuropAWAY GLP-1 product itself. We chose clinically studied ingredients and included Eriomin® at its full researched amount rather than a token sprinkle. That’s a meaningful difference from many products in this category.
What is Eriomin®, and why does the dose matter?
Eriomin® is a patented lemon-derived citrus flavonoid standardized to 70% eriocitrin, developed specifically for glucose metabolism and studied in human clinical trials. The trials used 200 mg per day — and that is exactly the amount in each NeuropAWAY GLP-1 capsule. Some competing products list a clinically studied ingredient but include far less than the studied amount, so you don’t get the researched dose. We don’t do that.
How does it support healthy glucose metabolism?
The ingredients are understood to work through the body’s own pathways. Eriomin® has been studied for increasing natural GLP-1 and improving glucose markers; taurine is involved in glucose and energy metabolism and improved glycemic markers in a meta-analysis of diabetic patients (Tao 2022); and TUDCA is being researched for its role in insulin sensitivity. Together they make up a formula focused on supporting healthy glucose metabolism.
Is this a natural alternative to GLP-1 medications like Ozempic?
No. NeuropAWAY GLP-1 is a dietary supplement, not a drug, and it is not a substitute for any prescription medication. GLP-1 medications like semaglutide are prescription drugs that work very differently and far more powerfully. Our formula is designed to support your body’s own natural GLP-1 response using clinically studied ingredients. If you are considering or taking a GLP-1 medication, talk with your doctor.
Who is NeuropAWAY GLP-1 for?
It’s formulated for adults who want to support healthy glucose metabolism and their body’s natural GLP-1 response as part of a healthy lifestyle. If you have diabetes, prediabetes, or any medical condition, or take prescription medication (especially glucose-lowering medication), talk with your doctor before use — combining glucose-supporting supplements with diabetes medication can affect your blood sugar.
Is it safe? Any side effects?
The ingredients have good safety profiles in the published studies, with no serious adverse events reported for Eriomin® or taurine at the studied amounts. As with any supplement, talk to your doctor before starting — particularly if you are pregnant or nursing, have a medical condition, or take prescription medication. Stop use and consult your doctor if you experience any adverse reaction.
Is NeuropAWAY GLP-1 FDA approved?
NeuropAWAY GLP-1 is a dietary supplement, not a drug, so it is not “FDA approved” — no dietary supplement is. It is manufactured in a GMP-certified, USA-based facility and third-party tested for quality. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Where can I read the studies?
The Eriomin® trials are published and available on PubMed: Ribeiro et al., Phytotherapy Research 2019 (doi:10.1002/ptr.6386); Cesar et al., Journal of Medicinal Food 2022 (doi:10.1089/jmf.2021.0181); Ramos et al., Food Science & Nutrition 2023 (doi:10.1002/fsn3.3654).
