Nighttime nerve support

When nerve discomfort keeps you up, NeuropAWAY PM helps you sleep through the night.

Why a separate formula for nighttime

Nighttime is when nerve discomfort is hardest to ignore — there’s nothing to distract from the burning, tingling, and restlessness, and it’s exactly when you need sleep most. NeuropAWAY PM is designed for that window.

Helps you fall asleep

15 mg of melatonin — the body’s natural sleep-timing hormone and one of the most studied sleep ingredients — to help you drift off when discomfort is keeping you up.

Helps you stay calm & settled

L-theanine, an amino acid associated with relaxation, replaces the daytime formula’s circulation ingredient for a blend tuned to winding down rather than gearing up.

Keeps the nerve-support base

Methylcobalamin (active B12), taurine, acetyl-L-carnitine, beta-alanine, and R-alpha-lipoic acid — the same family of nerve-support ingredients as our daytime formula.

Why we made it, and what the research shows. We formulated NeuropAWAY PM for people living with diabetes and nighttime nerve discomfort severe enough to keep them awake. It pairs the nerve-support base of our clinically studied formula with 15 mg of melatonin and L-theanine. Melatonin has shown analgesic benefit for chronic pain across 30 randomized controlled trials (Oh et al., J Clin Med, 2020), and as an add-on therapy in a clinical study of painful diabetic neuropathy it improved both pain and pain-related sleep (Shokri et al., 2021). Research on melatonin for nerve discomfort specifically is still emerging. The clinical trial of our daytime formula tested that formula specifically; PM shares its core base but is its own nighttime version. See the daytime formula’s clinical trial →

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers — including the ones about taking more than one capsule.

Is it safe to take 4 capsules at once?

Four capsules deliver 60 mg of melatonin, which is a high dose. Melatonin has a wide safety margin and isn’t considered acutely dangerous for healthy adults, but at 60 mg you should expect strong drowsiness and possibly grogginess or vivid dreams — so this is not a “take four and see” product.

Our recommendation: start with one capsule 30 minutes before bed to see how you respond, and increase only if you need to, up to a maximum of four. Take it only when you’re ready to sleep — never before driving or operating machinery — and don’t combine it with alcohol or other sedatives. Not for use during pregnancy or nursing, or by anyone under 18. If you take prescription medication (especially sedatives, blood thinners, or blood-pressure or diabetes medication) or have a medical condition, talk to your doctor first.

Has NeuropAWAY PM been clinically studied?

NeuropAWAY PM is built on the same core nerve-support base as our daytime NeuropAWAY formula, which was tested in a published, peer-reviewed, double-blind randomized controlled trial. PM is the nighttime version of that base: it keeps key ingredients like methylcobalamin, taurine, acetyl-L-carnitine, beta-alanine, and R-alpha-lipoic acid, and adds melatonin and L-theanine for sleep.

To be straight with you: that published trial studied the daytime formula specifically. PM shares its heritage but has not been run through its own separate clinical trial. We’d rather tell you that plainly than imply otherwise.

What does the melatonin do?

Melatonin is the hormone your body uses to signal that it’s time to sleep, and it’s one of the most researched sleep ingredients available. At 15 mg per capsule, NeuropAWAY PM is built to help you fall asleep and stay asleep when nighttime nerve discomfort is keeping you awake.

Will NeuropAWAY PM help with my nerve discomfort at night?

We formulated NeuropAWAY PM specifically for people with diabetes whose nighttime nerve discomfort is severe enough to keep them awake. It is not a painkiller and doesn’t numb discomfort directly — it’s built to help you rest through it.

Here’s the research behind that: melatonin has shown analgesic benefit for chronic pain across 30 randomized controlled trials (Oh et al., 2020), and as an add-on therapy in a clinical study of painful diabetic neuropathy it improved both pain and pain-related sleep (Shokri et al., 2021). Research on melatonin for nerve discomfort specifically is still emerging, so we describe what the studies show rather than making promises. For daytime nerve support, our daytime NeuropAWAY formula is the one backed by its own published clinical trial.

How is NeuropAWAY PM different from regular NeuropAWAY?

Two differences. First, the formula: PM keeps the core nerve-support base but swaps in L-theanine in place of the daytime formula’s circulation ingredient and adds 15 mg of melatonin for sleep. Second, how you take it: regular NeuropAWAY is a daytime formula taken across the day, while PM is taken before bed.

Many people use the daytime formula during the day and PM at night. They’re designed to complement each other.

How do I take NeuropAWAY PM?

Take 1 to 4 capsules about 30 minutes before bedtime, or as directed by your healthcare provider. Because the melatonin is potent, start with one capsule to see how you respond and increase only if needed. Take it when you’re settling in for sleep, not before anything that requires you to stay alert.

Is NeuropAWAY PM FDA approved?

NeuropAWAY PM is a dietary supplement, not a drug, so it is not “FDA approved” — no dietary supplement is. It is manufactured in a GMP-certified facility. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Where can I read the research behind the formula?

The clinical research belongs to our daytime NeuropAWAY formula, which PM is built upon. That trial was published in the peer-reviewed Journal of Pain Research (Cross & Srivastava, 2023; PMID: 37020664) and is free to read. See the full study summary →
